Dear colleague, dear Ashok,
Dear Rotary friends!

Tomorrow morning your GSE-team will leave Holland (D1580), returning back to India / Gujarat (D3060) with hopefully a life time changing experience. Your team arrived 4 weeks ago and the sun was starting to shine brightly and the sun is still shining brightly! Your team brought exceptional nice weather for Dutch circumstances! But you get what you earn. Your team was one of the best I have ever seen en met! Perfectly guided by Dinesh. He was an excellent teamleader, guide and coach for everybody! Your teammembers were well selected! They were eager to learn and to know how Dutch life and culture work. It was one continuing programme of joy, happiness, friendship, exchange and experience. For all of us. Symbolized by the attached pictures where everybody was dancing at our MultiDistrictConference that was held last Saturday.

I am personally very happy with the success of our common 'Schoolbench- project' to raise funds for the purchase of 1000 benches in Gujarat, matched with the funds of Rotary Foundation. To stress not only on the vocational aspects of the GSE-program, but also on the humanitarian aspects of what Rotary realy means and can do with joint efforts. And how important the Rotary Foundation is in linking and connecting friendship, programs and projects. The Rotary Foundation as 'heart' of Rotary! I hope that we have established now lifetime contacts with all of you. Remembrances never to forget.

I sincerely thank you for the 'gift' Rotary gave all of us. Thanks to your GSE-team!
